What it the code I have to type into the ledger to get an event that will give my character the crusader trait? By even code I mean something along the lines of event 1009.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
There are several events, you may trigger one of them according to your traits/status.
If you are sceptical or heretic you may want to trigger "God will forgive your sins if you join the Crusade" event by typing F12 and then charevent 1185.
If you have one of the following traits: hunchback, clubfooted, lisp, stutter, inbred, harelip or leper you can trigger "God will heal your ailments if you join the Crusade" charevent 1186.
If you are zealous "God urges you to take the Cross!" charevent 1187.
If you are a vassal and your liege is a crusader "Your liege demands that you join the holy crusade" charevent 1921.
