I've been playing as Italy, starting from the 1936 scenario, and when entering the year 1942 I noticed something quiet strange: Rudolf Hess had gone as Head of Government in Germany. Nothing to worry about, except for the fact that Germany never had/has war with the Allies. Germany backed down from Czechoslovakia, but continued with Poland --> no Second World War the classic way (Japan DoW'd the Soviet Union in '39 after steamrolling China).

I reloaded my savegame to early '41, when normally Rudolf Hess goes to Scotland, and right on the mark, on May 10th 1941 Germany gets the event "The Last Flight of Rudolf Hess". Seems a bit strange when Germany and the UK are at peace, isn't it?

It does, I have experiend the same problem after already have conqured UK as Germany, but still he tries to fly away. A lot of the events need to be looked at again, maybe I will give it a go after my exams.
