Based on the youtube poll I am thinking that pdx wants to begin implementing the mission trees properly in the game so heres my 2 cents

Cent 1: Mission trees helped me a lot when I began playing EUIV and I think it helped a lot of other people too. It gives new players a sort of direction when beginning a game, and can feel more attached to my nation this way

Cent 2: I think people are more concerned with the narrative rather than the modifiers the mission trees provide. I am basing this assumption on the varius HOIIV mods that are very popular and play with focuses heavily. The biggest reason the other side of the community hates the focus trees are the (ridiculous) bonuses it provides, which is understandible

Conclusion: I think mission trees should absolutely be in the game but should focus on narrative and nation bulding rather than on bonuses

This thread I wrote is rather lackluster but should cover most of my thoughts
