well here i am agian finding myself making another AAR :rolleyes: ...well this one is about the switzerland during world war 2. Historicly the Swiss were neutral but since this is my AAR ..anything can happen... ;)
 
This should be interesting...
 
Chapter 1 : Growing Concern

It was a snowy day in Bern, the Swiss Government had called for an emergency meeting to discuss the growing army of Germany, and what Switzerland should do about this. The meeting lasted a few hours but in the end the Government decided it should start producing more military divisions incase Germany decides to expand its border. But other Swiss think this is a waste of money and Germany wouldnt dare to cross to the Swiss border , because the Allies would be there to support the Swiss. But dispite these claims the Swiss Government stuck by thier decision.

A couple of weeks later the Swiss military started hiring more people, and creating more divisons. The Swiss government also set up a program. This program recomended that all Swiss citizens who could afford it, were to have a small arm ( revolver, pistol, ), or a rifle to defend themselves incase of an invasions. Also extra training services were set up for the army to train the troops better.

A couple of months later Italy annexs Ethiopia. Switzerland was surprized that the Allies didnt intervene but, the Swiss didnt pay much attention to the annexation...because it was in a different continent and the Swiss were more worried about the Germans and growing Facism....

well as it says up there the Swiss are creating more divisions...so the germans should be wary..

Chapter 2 : We Shall Stand Together !!

Switzerland continued to mass its forces on all sides of its borders. The only nation that wasnt agressive that its border shared was France. Another meeting was called and the all the representives of the Swiss Government arived. This time to discuss information about the Allies, and what the benifits would be if Switzerland joined the Allies. The meeting lasted many hours because many people were almost certain that Switzerland would be dragged into the wat and many people didnt want that. But most people were still worried that if Germany invades, Switzerland would be left to fight alone ageinst the Reich. So in the end the Government of Switzerland decided it would be best to join the Allied Powers.

Switzerland joins the Allies on March 12th, 1937.

Some of the Swiss people were relived that they would have support if they were invaded plus it lowered the invasion level because Germany knew if it invaded Switzerland it would have to answer to the Allies. So the Swiss people continued on with thier normal lives.

On April 4th 1937, Republican Spain lost the Spanish Civil War and was sadly annexed by Nationalist Spain. The Swiss werent to happy that Britian and France didnt do anything to support the Republicans. But the Swiss relized that you can undo history and ignored this. The Swiss have been neutral in the last war but now they must get used to not being Neutral. For once the Swiss people our in danger if war brakes out.

Yea nice move, allies will have a bigger front to defend but germans as well. Very interesting what will follow.

btw, what is that picture of the Swiss government meeting it looks like a bookpress or sth?
