U.S marines Storm ashore in big operation in carribean
Today it was announced that in what has been seen as the U.S's first operations of the war 2 U.S Marine Divisions under General Patton landed in Cuba to displace the pro axis government, further up 1 Marine Division and a Free Danish Brigade landed on Haiti to undertake similar action.

President Roosevelt told the worlds press that "almost all objectives had been undertaken" General Patton who was in charge of the campaign also added his delight at the campaign. An estimated 150 U.S casualties and 3,500 enemy casualties have been announced.

Japanese attack Phillapines, Mac flees to Australia
Last Night after intense fighting in the North of the Country , U.S and Phillapino troops surrendered leaving Manilla wide open for Japanese Occupation, General Macarthur escaped the island last week and headed to Australia where he hopes to conduct the rest of the war in the Pacific. Japan has now gone on a crusade through the pacific and U.S troops are fighting in the Dutch East Indies alongside Dutch,Australian,British,Canadian and Chinese troops.

it has been reported that 5,000 troops were lost in the battle.
