Welcome, to a new mod in development called " The Old Order ", an alternate history mod where advanced technology rules a different, yet familiar world, all in the 19th century!
The mod, starting on the 11th of December, 1871, will have :
- The E3 map, containing 8021 provinces, over the 2770 vanilla ones
- A new, bigger, improved, and of course steampunk tech tree
- Overhauled graphics, from flags to interface, to sprites and everything else
- A very large amount of detailed and meaningful events
- A character and nation system represented with events and the interface, where you decide your character's fate and your nation's fate
- A ( possible ) overhauled combat system, where you have brigades consisted of battalions, and it works similar to HoI III
- A high quality sound track, with a lot of songs and ambient sounds for some events
- New modifiers of all kinds, ranging from manpower and resource production, to modifiers for goverment, religion, culture, industrial or tribal etc.
- New nation system :
- Development level: Non-western, Semi-Industrialised, Industrialised
- Government Structure: Tribal, Decentralised, Centralise
- For monarchies: Duchy, Grand Duchy, Kingdom, Empire
So, I've decided to release a battle scenario as a sort of testing ground for any new features that will be added in the future. Anyway, I present to you :
