Hi, I'm quite interested in trying to port various mods or Expand/revamp certain community mods, revive old mods that were left to nothing, I've had several ideas lately, like using decisions and events as a replacement system for the focus trees

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you would be interested in that idea?

I'm certainly very ambitious even being a novice modder, but I think I'll learn, hehe.

(I'm sorry if there are problems with my English, I'm a Venezuelan guy who uses a translator)

Which mods come to your mind?
 
First of all, I'd also like to make a system that can replace the focus tree and use it for those mods, while also bringing something back to the community with the possibility of more alternate stories, which I've seen there's been a lot of lack of. alternate history mods and i certainly get a little tired of playing the same bland wwii

Here's a little test scenario, it still doesn't look like the TNO but I have a base to work from

I think the biggest problem will be when creating extra countries, especially Balkanized Russia.

While i appreciate your enthusiasm as someone who has tried to mod the game in the past (including map modding, events, new nations, decisions, etc) both on this game, vic2, hoi4, ck2 etc. It seems that you're making the same mistakes i did i.e trying to bit more than you can chew I'd recommend that you start small some events that work on a linear way, after that you could begin working more on other stuff, using other people's mods as a base to see what is possible and what just isn't, either because of the amount of work or simply impossible

Yes, I understand, I've also thought about it, it's just a small proposal that I have in mind while I start working, currently I've been creating a personal mod on my own what if, but I appreciate your recommendation and I appreciate it very much
