Note: this is my first AAR, there are numerous words that I probably spelled wrong but MS word sucks.

We started in the 1936 scenario, with the purpose of seeing how long we could last against the Huns.

The relative calm before the storm.

We spent the beginning years researching like we were from Timiriud Empire itself. We divided up the research categories between us. The UK being responsible for infantry, electronics, and some navy. France for planes and some doctrines. And finally the US was responsible for the rest. Nick wanted to research rockets and nukes but we had to smack him around some to make him research things that we needed like artillery and tanks.

The world went about its business as its usually does; Italy annexed Ethiopia and Albania with little difficulty. The Spaniards quickly took over the entire Spanish realm; The Allied nations shared technologies between each other like brothers, with the United States included, for they were fearful of the Mexican people’s dreams of Santa Anna’s revenge. Therefore he garrisoned a full five divisions on along the Rio Grande, in response to a single division of horse mounted taco dealers( which did an astronomical amount of business no less).

Poland joined the Allied nations in late August and not a moment too soon as on September the first in the year the fascist began their crusade for global domination. However they lacked significant allies, indeed all they had was Slovakia, and Hungary.

The war for Poland went poorly for the forces of righteousness initially however the Poles solidified their resistance along the outskirts of the capital, it seemed as though they were led by the spirit Jan Sobeski the III. As the Germen campaign in the east got bogged down, the French decided to take advantage of this occasion and attacked Saarbrucken with 19 divisions but were driven out after a five day battle by the brilliant leadership of Rommel. The Joint allied command staff briefly attempted to gain military access through the lowlands for a “reverse von Schlieffen plan” but alas the lowlanders proved to ignorant of the magnitude of the war being fought and both the Netherlands and Belgium denied the allies military access. A new plan was devised to make a breakthrough into Germany, something which was so odd it was called Ocelot.

Blow for blow

Operation Ocelot was plan devised by the British high command, it an amphibious invasion of the germen provinces of Hamburg and Wilfenschaffen (spelled really wrong). A force of two infantry divisions and two motorized divisions, under the command of O’Connor landed in Hamburg, while a French force landed in the province south-west of Hamburg on the 29th of February in 1940.

The Germens were spread thin with their stagnating advance in Poland and the “defensive” troops along the Franco-Germen border. Thus, no troops were garrisoned in northern Germany.

There was only a small problem that faced the Allies; the total lack of armored divisions. The British and French peoples had not researched anything in the ways of modern tanks, since it was the obligation of the United States to supply their democratic brothers with the relevant technology. When queried about this the American president Franklin Roosevelt, responded “Oh shit! I’m sorry I have been upgrading my navy like a madman and watching those sneaky Mexican bastards.” The technology concerning welded armor and tank prototypes were give in March of 1940.

The forces of Operation Ocelot tore through the northern Germany, however due to their lack of speed could not meet the French prime minister’s claim that “the war will be over by Easter!” The germens were quick to move against the allied intruders, fast panzer armies under the command of famed generals von Rundset and Rommel moved quickly the destroy them. Rommel’s panzers met O’Connor’s infantry on the faithful day of April 15, 1940. His majesty’s forces fought bravely but they could not stand up to the Germen juggernauts. The four British divisions were obliterated and only through a daring SAS Para rescue mission was general O’Connor was brought to the safety of France.

The French force fared better; the forces of Von Rundset met them but they were able to keep up the fight long enough for a relief force from Strasbourg to come to their rescue. Then something peculiar happened, breakthrough .

The failure of National Socialism

With the breakthrough along the French-Germen border, which was originally intended as a relief force for the remaining forces of Operation Ocelot; the fortunes of war seemed to show themselves. In June of 1940 the first of the British armored divisions entered the world of combat. The Cruiser Mk I-II tank was the main battle tank for the Allied armies for much of the beginning of the informally named “Operation Poetic Justice”. Five divisions of the new Cruisers under the command of Montgomery were loaned to the French army.

With the breakthrough of the germen defensive forces along the western front; the Germens were forced to make some difficult choices; those being whether to keep the divisions on the offensive in their failed blitzkrieg of Poland or to send divisions to the west to counter the combined armies of the United Kingdom and France…they chose to keep the divisions in the east, they chose wrong.

Meanwhile in the rest of the world, the Soviet Union fought a brief but bloody war against the people of Finland, the Bolsheviks made great gains against the Ugrics of Finland. Indeed they conquered over half of the Finn’s land but they opted instead to simply take the territory they originally asked for. On the American front; the support of the forces of democracies continued with advances infantry weapons and more and more technologies of the tanks and artillery. With the successes of the Allies the American people’s support for entering the war dropped dramatically. There are rumors among the inner circles of the White House of the possibilities of attacking Mexico and Canada in order to prevent “the damn Canucks and Mexicrats from taking my land”.

The fighting in Germany went the well for France, Poland and the UK, the Germens seemingly couldn’t do anything right. Every counter-attack failed, every attack failed. Warsaw never even came under shelling from germen guns. The Hannover section of Germany had been taken by British troops, meanwhile France went insane and on the day of October the 6th, the nation of Germany ceased to exist.

The allies would be faced with a lengthy and expensive occupation of the germen people but it was deemed by the Heads of Governments of the allied nations of what Europe would look like. Hannover would be ceded to the United Kingdom. Prussia would be ceded to Poland. The independence of the Czech people would be recognized. France deemed it necessary to outright annex the remaining territory, which consisted of Germany and Austria. In a speech given by the French Prime Minister he declared “This New France will always be a part of France!”

There stilled remained the nations of Slovakia and Hungary to be dealt with since they were still fascist aggressors.
