It took me a long time to work out how to get my Sketchup models into Skylines, I watched loads of videos about the subject and read many forum posts and guides, and thought to myself, wouldnt it be great if there was an easy to follow step by step guide. So I decided to make one. This guide will show you how to create a model in Sketchup, collect and build your texture, UV your model in blender and then gather all the needed files to import into the asset editor, and use the asset editor to make your model game ready.

The Zip file contains not only the PDF Guide but also all the texture files and model files for your referance. This 33 page guide, took me 2 weeks to compile, and I would be very grateful if you find the guide useful, to make a small donation to me for my time, and to encourage me to make more guides. Really great initiative to make an in-depth guide for SketchUp users as I believe there aren't any out there yet except for this one.
I do think you should post this ( if you haven't already ) on the Citieskylinesmodding subreddit.

Something that I've noticed as I'm usually working wiith larger buildings with many balconies etc. is that it's a good idea using the texture for the windows and walls surrounding it as the tris-count can get pretty redicilous if you draw out every window on a 50 storey skyscraper. You'll ofcourse have to do other things like clean up and merge faces etc. in blender to make a more healthy tris count.

But yeah, again, great job and keep it up! :)
