Aside from the occasional crash-to-desktop-without-warning bug, which I think is caused by various TSRs that I keep forgetting to turn off, I have had the following weird occurence:
After playing the Spanish secession scenario for about two years as France, I suddenly received a message that I had won, which was news to me since I hadn't moved out of France, hadn't fought anyone, hadn't really done anything except try to improve my stability. The victory breakdown included England as winner, with me second and I think Spain third: all with 101% . . . surely this can't be right? Has anyone else experienced this or have an explanation?
And yes, I have reproduced this event a second time: this time the Grand Alliance states received 303% and I received 101% - no-one had surrendered peace to anyone, so I don't see why, dammit. Both the Grand and the Bourbon Alliance were said to have achieved victory, so how that works is anybody's guess.
