January 1, 1936---The War Room

FDR--Congratulations Eisonhower on your promotion to commandert of the entire Eastern coast forces. MacArthur, PAtton and a few others will be joining us here shortly.
Eisonhower--THank you sir. Montgomery may also be coming to discuss Grand Strategy.
Patton--Sorry we're late now lets begin.
FDR--I have decided that we shall focus our forces on Germany before we attack Japan. Sorry MacArthur we're cutting your navy, airforce, and army. I'm sure Nimitz will be upset but send all of your battleships to Norfolk. We will have Grand Admiral Kimmel in command of that. Next we will begin construction on 30 transports to move are army, but even with that huge number of ships it will still take several trips to get are army around. We will need about 30+ Infantry under Bradley, 15 tanks under Patton, 10 motorized divisions, for now 5 strategic bombers, 5 tactical bombers, and 10 fighters. Now Patton you told me you had a plan for the grand strategy Europe and then MacArthur can give his Pacific plan. Go ahead Patton...

when we last left The Yanks AAR comin' our heroes were in the war room discussing grand Strategy.

Patton turns on a light over a table and everyone gathers around it.
Patton--With the extra weopons given to us we will let Great Britian have North Africa. We will gather our entire force at Tunisia then make land at Messinia and thern drive up Italy. THen we will gather our forces at England and make an amphibious assault on France from there we will drive to Berlin. THere is no chance France will hold, but there is a chance the Soviet Union can if we strike quickly. Although it could benifit us if the USSR is conquered by the Germans coast to coast then they will be very from from Berlin and would take much longer for them to reach us. this is just a basic outline of the Eurpoean Front and will probably be changed before the war begins. MacArthur--Now with our decreased supplies we must yield some territory to Japanese and set up a perimeter of defense. We must hold the Philipines if we can hold the Philipines it is doutful they will try to take some other American holdings.
