Greetings

I just granted the title of Count of Zaozerye to a bastard of my former ruler. The title disappeared from my ruler list of titles, the new count has the title but... he doesn't leave my court!

He's there, listed among the other court members, with his shining count ring around his portrait, while if I click on the county it still has my shield and I can build improvements.

Granted, Zaozerye isn't the nicest place in the world, it's cold, barren and muslim too, but he SHOULD go and rule there! :)

A bug, I suppose?

When he dies, the situation should correct itself automatically. And yeah, it's a bug, if you can get a save from which you can always reproduce it, we would be interested about it.

I have it. Well, i have it of a few days before I inherited the county myself, but if you f12 the countess who died and you grant the title, the bug reproduces.

The situation is, in factm as follow: I inherited the county, the inheritance message paused the game and I granted the title before having teh game unpaused. The guy stays in the court.

If rather than granting the title right away I have a couple of days passing, then everything works as usual and the guy moves to his county, the new shield appears and everything.

Still want the save? And, where should I send it?

Ah, no need then. I was primarily curious on what circumstances the bug appears. That it happens when you give out inherited land immidiately to someone else makes sense actually, since the game probably can't keep up with who should be where properly. I'll have to test it out myself later.

Ok, I've it zipped away, in any case, should you want to give it a look. The fact is, I had granted lands on inheritance messages before and I never had something like a courtier court :) I just build a grand palace tho, maybe I made it too splendid :)
