In their dumb effort to prevent people from playing without DLC that they do not own. They developed a system now and never tested it. Their current system now means that if one person has a DLC that the host does not, namely a species pack. That the host cannot start up the game that they hosted to begin with. This means you can't start your save that you hosted. It's broken af.
Paradox needs to fix this asap as it breaks multiplayer.
My current workaround is, starting the last save from the paradox launcher. This loads the save immediately without checking for dlc. Thank god paradox doesn't know how to test things lmao. Load into this save and create a new save in it. This will seemingly either deleting all DLC content that the host doesn't have, or just removes the DLC requirement regardless.
