Obviously the Normandy campaign in 1944 will be the main focus of the game, but will be have also 1945 units for multiplayer?
Also which is the policy for prototypes? Personally I'm for weapons and vehicles that were produced during 1945 in small numbers or the ones that were actually finished but didn't saw active combat service for any reason.

I personally believe that the game should be restricted to units that were present in the TO&E of formations involved in the battle of Normandy. There is enough stuff in there, believe me. No need for unicorns.

If a unit was not in the TO&E of a division during the game's timeframe, which spans June - early August 1944 at the latest(MadMat said no M18 Hellcats, and they arrived in mid August 1944 and saw combat at Arracourt in September), it should not be in the game. They are using divisions as the basis of deck building.

For example, the 101st Airborne had M22 Locust glider-borne tanks in their TO&E in June 1944 prior to the D-Day para-drop. However, they decided not to take the M22s and instead took more AT guns and supplies in their gliders. The M22 Locust will be available to the 101st Airborne in Steel Division despite not seeing combat in Normandy, because it was available and very well could have seen combat.

Stick to TO&E's. It gives more flavor to the divisions, and authenticity to the game. As an added bonus, it's educational for those who get their information from movies, tv-series and games.
