On the other hand, anticipation builds the hype. I imagine the Spanish forumites are already preparing their snacks for next Friday. I disagree with your stance, but these things are purely personal preference, and I guess as a harmless, not too laborious compromise they could put the following week's topic behind a spoiler button.

Also, the point is not to entertain us, but to gather feedback. Telling people in advance is super helpful because people use that week to put information and posts ahead of time ready for suggestions.

I bet the "classic start" tinto flavors will be closer to the end. Byzantium, England, France, Castile, Ottomans, etc. I don't think they would have started with Florence and Novgorod if they wanted to play those cards early.
