Tips for Targaryen reconquest?

I started as Drogo one year prior to the Clash of Kings scenario, and everything's going swimmingly. I've become Great Khal of the Great Grass Sea empire, earn a tidy profit from raids on the Slave Coast and Free Cities, and have a very stable amount of possible heirs. My wonderful wife, my sun and stars, Khaleesi Danaerys, has the opportunity to claim her title as Iron Queen. However, there's not really any way for us to get there. No mercenary ships are available. If I fabricate a claim and conquer one of the free cities, will I gain their ships? How can I bring my Khalasar across the narrow sea?

I'm actually more bothered about how to hatch her dragon egg.

Yeah, I don't think that's possible if Drogo lives. I'm hoping that he'll die before she does (he's almost 50, she's in her 30s), so an event might be triggered.

Conversely, you can press her claim for the Iron Throne, and hope that the various Lord Paramounts submit without fighting, then load as her being Queen of the Iron Throne. Have her lead troops in Dragonstone, King's Landing, Harrenhal, and Oldtown (Summerhall and the Field of Fire in the Reach are also valid places). With 4-6 pieces of dragonlore, it should be easy to hatch the egg. (You know you have gotten the dragonlore when you get an event with 25 prestige). Wait for another two years and try to tame the whelp.
