Tried playing this campaign in AoD, but decided to give old Doomsday a go.

Tips for the Soviets in Doomsday Campaign 1945-
I am curious what strategies people have picked in regards to a successful Soviet take over of the world in 1945. After the 2 initial US nukes, IC has taken a substantial hit. How have players reacted to this? Do you still try to build more divisions, or just try to maintain and supply the ones you have?

What theater do you focus on Europe first (Where exactly? through Germany or Italy)? or Asia, or Middle East. Do you spend time reorganizing the units already deployed or do you just use what you have?

What about diplomatically? Do you DOW Nationalist China and then Ally Communist China? Or let Mao suffer alone against Chiang? Thanks in advance everyone!

1) Kill dissent
2) Take mainland europe the earlier you can. Let Bremen be kept by USA. He will reinforce it always and always.
3) USA will try to break in Bremen. If he has nothing in europe, he will go to far east.
4) Dont ally Mao before europe mainland is secured. (with or without bremen). Mao is sexy, he will attract a lot of nukes.
5) Let USA mass forces in 1 or 2 provinces (Bremen, Kamchakta or/and south Korea).
6) Build nukes and use them against the US blocks. Destroy them at once.
7) USA usually lacks manpower. Invade quickly Uk-USA if you havent done it.


I think you can end that campaign between 1950 and 1955.
