As mentioned in the "CK2+ Help and Tutorials" thread, there's supposed to be a titular kingdom for Mann and the Isles restricted to Anglo-Norse and North Germanic cultures. In my current game I'm playing a Norse from Avhaland (Åland) who's mission is to conquer the British Isles and create a Gallawian empire (norse-celtic culture; Gallawa) and resurrect the celtic religion.

I really want to create the kingdom of Mann and the Isles before the culture swap, as I wish to cut some land from England, not making any kingdom stronger than the other on the isles; but I can't find a way to create it. I've control of the Western Isles and the Isle of Mann, my culture is still Norse and I'm currently the Queen of Dublin and Finland. But from what I can gather, there is no "Not king/queen" restriction for this specific title (example of this, Kingdom of Dublin), so this shouldn't be a problem, right?

I've also looked through some of the .txt files, looking for the title name (specifically looking for, "k_of_mann_and_the_isles"), but I can't find it in "CK2Plus_titles.txt", nor the "landed_titles.txt". Am I missing something or is it simply removed/missing in the current version of CK2+?

PS
Sorry if I've missed this in a change log somewhere, but if I have missed it, could you please redirect me?

Update
I just checked some of the other titles that exists in my current game; there seems to be a whole lot of titles missing in the Help and Tutorial section. Such as the Kingdom of- East Anglia, Essex, Strathclyde, Scania and Gotland. I'm not sure if there are more uncreatable titles, such as Mann and the Isles, however.

You do realize you're pointing to a post on a closed thread which is three years old, yes?

Meant no harm, just pointing it out. Is there any other thread in similar fashion that I've missed (i.e. help, tips, tutorials and etc.)?

Edit
To be honest, I completely missed the age of the post, sorry about that.

There's none that are actually up to date to the best of my knowledge anyways

Thanks for the heads up!

Are the titles in CK2+ by any chance based on the "Flavourful Titular Titles" (FTT) mod? Or maybe it's the other way around? Anyway, I'll solve the "problem" by simply downloading the FTT-mod and try to force it into CK2+!

Thanks for the help guys!

FTT should be rather easy to adapt into CK2+ though if you are interested in only the one title anyways you could just cut out all the other titles from the file. The main issues will be duplicates stuff, which is why I suggest just pruning all but the titles you want.

As for the history lesson, it went that I made FTT, then Wiz asked to use some of the titles, then it just got integrated into CK2+, then a lot of those got pruned once custom kingoms/empires became a feature.

Oh, I knew I recognized the nickname from somewhere! I'll follow your advice and remove the duplicates, seems like a good idea.

And while I'm at it, may I ask why the FTT-mod was removed from Steam?

I dropped support on it a long time ago due to having other priorities and because I felt the custom kingdom/empire DLC covered pretty much entirely of what my original reasoning for it was to begin with. Anyone is free to take the leftovers and continue it if they wish though.

It's true that the Charlemagne DLC more or less covers what you set out to do. But you've my thanks for the mod non the less. I really love the flavour of all the bickering kingdoms in the less blobby areas, and I really dig titular titles as they take time to "legitimize" (in contrast to the "Create Kingdom" choice). Such as a Norse conquest of Ireland choosing to create Dublin instead, not ensuring any de jour claims. The constant bickering in England also makes for some great alternative history. I love seeing Mercia, Essex & Wessex more or less fighting for "de jour drift".

Heck, CK2+ alone is great for just this reason. The constant shifts in the Carolingian Empire, kingdoms popping in and out of the empire and the map seldom remain static for long. I guess I just really love seeing things "move" and not remain static for hundreds of years, which seems to be a common curse in my Vanilla games; I don't believe I've seen the Mongols do any harm in any of my games, and same goes for the Aztecs.

It would be fun to pick up modding again, but I'm not up to the task anymore. Haven't done any modding since the hay-day of WarCraft 3.

Anyway, I might have strived to much off-topic now, but thanks again for the help!
