I have histories for most of those countries - are they considered incomplete, or is something else missing that got piled into the same category? (and if not, there are countries I *haven't* seen descriptions for that are *not* on that list, too...)

I'm working on leaders and monarchs for Granada. The monarchs are pretty much done, subject to oversight from Forza and Archduke, but the leaders are taking some time. Arabic names are a real PITA.

Histories are a rough setup of what they can achieve or what their aim is through 400 years, mostly simulated by events, cbs and so on...

Especially the Hansa, which has been the first nation I created suffers from being the first to be done and thus still a bit inflexible.:p

Oh, okay - I was thinking of the scenario-screen descriptions I've been working on, the "this is how they got where they are at game-start" things. What you're talking about seems to be something broader but possibly including those, but also including events and such.

I think it's a case of you and I using different words to refer to the same things - or the same words for different things, however you like to put it (I would classify what you seem to be referring to as "strategy" rather than "history"). By "history" I was referring to things that happened prior to game-start, not during the game.

As for the usual course of in-game events, I've been trying to hint at the most likely path or two for each country in the closing sentence or two, but not give too much away for the folks who'd rather just jump in and see what happens rather than reading the events file ahead of time.

The problem with that is that both Brittany and Scotland have two plausible paths..

Well, the last sentence could show that, actually Sheridan made nice ones, especially for Brittany, readable in the Desc thread.
