If I'm not wrong, in FTG ToT provinces features are as follows:

1) They could be owned only with control themselves by a ToT country during a war and without peace
2) A modder write ToT country in the scenario and can be disabled and enabled by events.
3) ToT provinces can be different country by country.

First Update

2) ToT country must be write in db, and, by now, can't be disabled or enabled during a game.
these are enabled and disabled by events

3) ToT provinces are the same for all ToT country, and different country by contry.

Afaik it's possible for the province to be ToT for different countries, but I don't know if it works properly.

Updated post.

It works properly in some mods not setted in the modern age: for example when the barbarian states own some provinces of Western Roman Empire to simulate the migration, or also with arabs conquests.

Thanks to szmik.

Could other user confirm what szmik wrote? (to be sure)

It's easy to run some tests, for example:
- add the same ToT province to Spain and Portugal (like Azores or Canary Islands)
- colonize it with one of them, then reload and try to take it with the other without war.

Do we have commands for changing nations and provinces? I remember I lacked them to make use of ToT in NA.

What do you mean with NA?

With "for the other" do you mean "other ToT countries" or "not ToT nation"?

1) no, even during peace by a recipient
2) yes in provinces_special.txt, and yes by an event that sets a global flag where enable_tot is used (with yes or no as value, see global_flags.txt)
3) but a province can be part of ToT for several countries

In short: same rules as EU2 but not limited to SPA nor POR and global flags are not hardcoded anymore. papacy = yes/no is also important for ToT rules to apply to a country according to its State religion.

There is no command for ToT in the script engine.

1) no, even during peace by a recipient

Even if the recipient has a ToT province core in that province itself? Don't ToT province became immediatly owned controlling it by a ToT contry if a ToT core is exacly there?

Perfect! :)

So, a ToT province is set not during the game?

Yes but only if the province is without fortification. A recipient must control a ToT province in order to get instant ownership and fortification will mean a succesful siege before.

ToT is indeed part of the "static" database.

ToT is indeed part of the "static" database.

Could be changed in the next patches?

I ask it, even if there aren't any problem: just set several ToT province country by country, in order to make provinces easy to conquer for some countries.

Could be ToT provinces renamed with another Latin name?

The only solution in order to make different ToT province in the same country, is to set the same name and the same country setting with the only difference of the different ToT province.

So for example Vandals could have the ToT province in Spain, and then in North Africa, just call it Vandals for two contries... I'm right?

I'm not sure I understand what you want to do but you can change the tag of a country in order to apply different ToT list to the same country (using several tags and corresponding ToT list).

Great idea for early medieval barbarian states. :)

You've understood what I want to do exactly.

Thanks :)
