With personal combat scores having been introduced many patches ago now, why are tournaments still decided by a character's Martial score? Martial is supposed to represent strategy, tactics, organisation, and so on and so forth that a character needs to build and command an effective army. Its relevance to tournaments seems tangential at best.

I mean this is a problem in vanilla as well (I assume), but it seems like something really obvious that modders should change.

No, the issue I corrected earlier was that the trigger looked for BOTH Martial and Combat Rating at the same time, which led to complications. So I changed it to use Martial as the base and look at Combat Rating only when the Martial rating was the same. Those could easily be swapped around, but if so then I'd suggest making the margin changed from 5 (currently the champion event looks for those contestants who are within 5 points of Martial of each other) to something smaller, as Combat Ratings do not go as high.
