Trade Imbargos...

Is there certain condition which must be met before intiating a trade embargo? My situation is as follows: I've just started a GC using Turkey. Venice has a relationship score w/ me at -200. Now, everytime I try to send a Diplomat to Venice to set up a Trade Embargo, I can't highlight the option; so, what's the problem? Now, I already have CB with Venice, but surely there must be a way to do this. And please don't say this is a bug, I'll really be disappointed if it is; it kind of makes the game unplayable. I'll end up putting it back on the shelf until a patch is released that makes the game work properly. Hopefully I'm just jumping the gun, but I've noticed this game is extremely buggy. You only get the ability to place trade embargos at a certain trade level.

Thanks a lot... I new it was my fault! I just wish the manual was a little cleaner... oh well, as long as the basics aren't broke (like they are in the tutorial)!

Though the manual isn't to forthcoming with practical information, the interface is. Hold your mouse over practically anything and you get loads of information. Try it on the research/budgeting page. You'll learn a ton about the research levels, etc. It improved my game a bunch.

The very small red icons directly to the right of the tech
sliders list the different tech levels when you hold the curser over it.

Holding it directly over the slider lists the current research, eta of completion, etc.
