I'm playing as Rome and I've just noticed that Ager Bruttius can only trade with one other province, despite the fact that it has two trade slots (I built a forum there). I have three choices for internal trade routes, all of which suply resources that Ager Bruttius doesn't have, and none of which already trade for wood, so i should be able to set up two of those routes. But when I set one of them up (it doesn't matter which one), the left-most trade route icon grays out, just as if there was no more choices for internal trade routes.
I think this has to do with the fact that Ager Bruttius, in my game, used to trade for wine with Massilia, but at some point a barbarian horde took that province (Massilia), which cut the trade route. A few years later, I noticed the problem.
Edit: Weird. I just saved and reloaded, and now it shows that I'm still trading wine to Emporion (it wasn't Massilia then, but Emporion).
Edit 2: Hmm, after a while the trade slot grayed out again, so I saved and reloaded again and went to emporion to cancel the deal. I noticed that emporion also had one other trade route. But after I cancelled it, it turned out that emporion wasn't able to establish a new second trade route. Apparantly they had lost their forum somehow, and still maintained two trade routes. I guess that was the problem.
