Training Grounds Bug ?

Hi.

Is this a bug ? I'm playing elves, and have 2 cities.

My capital, which can build bowmasters. So no spears or knights of any tier, but it does have training grounds.
Another city which can build up to tier 1 spears, so just up to chamber of spears.

With just that I am able to upgrade spears to spear masters, even though I can't directly train them. If I then destroy the training grounds in my capital I can no longer upgrade them.

No, this is not a bug. Only 1 training ground in any city is required to upgrade Tier 1 troops of any race. :laugh:

Oh, I thought you had to be able to build the tier 2 unit that you wanted to upgrade to .

It does mean you never need more than 1 training ground as elves, since the upgrade cost is always the cost difference for them ^_^

yes, even for the other races it is better to only have one university / training ground as they have unaccaptable high upkeep costs. the money you don't have to spend to upgrade them is already lost by having this building instead of buildings that produce gold every turn.
