Hello there! The present is a design choice and not a bug. Sinful Traits decrease Opinion of you for characters which consider these Traits sinful. Zealot Vassals are affected by Sins additionally and that is why the opinion loss is doubled. If you have any other questions about it, don't hesitate to ask about it on the main forum for the game.
