I do want to add that I did also try running the game with all code mods disabled and it still didn't work .
Did you also try it with mods disabled in a new savegame, that has never been used with mods?

Could you show where your tram stops are? Does it also happen on tram upgrade on existing roads, or only on tram rails?

Hi sorry its been a while since I've looked here. Yes I did try with a brand new save game with all mods disabled.
You can see the stops in the video where the curb comes out. This example may not be the best due to it having stops near corners which can apparently cause issues, but I did the same test without stops on corners.
This happens on both stops that are on rail and on roads. It happens on routes that are road only and on routes that are rail only. It happens even if the depot is super close by so it isnt a distance and maintnence issue I don't think, the condition of the depot is always over 100%.

What happens is the tram will say that it is pathfinding to the stop, but the second the vehicle arrives, it immediately switches its status to returnining to depot.
I have tried everything (that I know of) except redownloading the game as I have wifi in the single digits of MB/s and its kinda a last effort thing.
I know that they used to work fine because I've had them before, but that savegame got corrupted or something and won't load.

I would love to get this figured out as the bus lines in my current save game are getting too busy and a tram would help greatly!! Let me know what I need to do to make this possible. Ive seen on a lot of these reports asking for some sort of game files? Would that help and if so how would I do that.

Thank you!
Please attach the savegame and logs for the file where NO MODS were used. It's enough if it's just a small test city with the tram and the issue present, so we can reproduce it.

So I created another test city with absolutely no mods present, I used a new playset, and the issue did stop. Previously I ran the game with no code mods and the issue was still happening. Logically, that would mean that a non code mod mod would be causing the issue. How would a non code altering mod cause this kind of issue?
Is just process of elimination and just adding my mods back one at a time the best/only way to figure out which one exactly is causing the issue?
Adding one by one is the easiest way, if you have no other approach. What "non-code" mods are you using? Region Packs are the only non-code mods that exist currently.

The way I phrased it was confusing. I had other things than code mods downloaded like decals and such. (I assume those are not code mods.)
I will add back the mods and other downloads one by one and see if that recreates the issue.
We don't have asset modding yet, so decals etc. are also code mods.

Okay that makes sense. What doesn't is that I went mod by mod and added them all back, and the trams are working fine... I feel like I am going crazy.
Sometimes the mod order or some random race condition changes behaviour. That's one of the reasons we can't provide support with modded games, because the results are not deterministic
