I haven't played in quite a while and I have a new computer now - i'm noticing a very faint line down the middle of the screen where the shadows of the trees disappear on the right of the line. It is hard to describe and it isn't very noticeable but once I saw it I can't un-see it. I don't know if I just never noticed it before or if it is an issue with my new computer setup. I tried all the settings and turning shadows off completely eliminates it so it is definitely something to do with the shadows. I googled and didn't find anything. I'm wondering if it is just the way it is or if it is a my computer problem - has anyone else heard of anything like this before??

Thank you

Trees? In CK3? It's been a while since I actually played it but I don't recall them featuring ... can we see a screenshot perhaps?

Pretty much this. This is the only thing I can find and it is from 2 years ago.

Right click on ck3.exe , properties, compatibility. Tick "disable fullScreen optimisations" untick every other box in that dialog, Apply and exit.
Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, cap refresh rate at 60.

If those don't help:
DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.
IF dxdiag.txt fails to attach here, rename it to dxdiag.log , or zip it up.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log

Thank you. I tried the settings you suggested and it didn't fix the issue it just made the game run terribly with vsynch off.

Here are the files you asked for.

The error file is blank/empty. Its not letting me upload the dxdiag for some reason I'll try again later.
