In the boardgame, the first and second countries which succeed in making a full trip around the world (starting from a European port and coming back to that same port with no stop) got a good share of victory points. Is this feature implemented in the computer game ?

I succeeded at last in making that trip and got no points, although it is perfectly possible that computer controlled countries already did this.

I am not aware of any bonus such as this, nor have I seen any mission that is close to this. My guess is that this is a feature that did not make it in the transition from board game to computer game.

Ptah, who needs Australia anyway ? :D

I think it might change with difficulty but also with countries. I am not sure the same discovery will bring the same VPs to all countries...

Well, there definitely are some discrepancies otherwise. Earlier today I discovered Alaska, Panama for 5 points and the Great Lakes, the Amazon, California and Cape Horn for 10.
