As China I lend an army to the Romania, then I get a message said that Romania lend my army to me, I am confused and then when I look close my army are now with Serbian flag, they actually lend my army that I lend them to Serbia, after a while the war end and I never get back my army, and now the Serbia keep it and keep bankruptcy.......

Well, there is some risk in lending, just as IRL.

This just happened to me as Japan. When I selected the army, (with the other nation's flag) you can choose return control to owner. It seems the other country doesn't return control to Human players for some reason.

Also, if the army is in your own territory, you will have attrition, so do it as soon as you can.
