Trouble installing the game

Hi. I bought Europa Universalis a few days ago, but I am unable to install it. When the InstallShield prepares the installation, the installation is aborted and I get the error message "An installation support file c:\Docume~\martin\locals~\temp\{CA5DD6E1-B508-4922-815D-479E3228B17A}\setup.inx could not be installed. Data error (cyclic redundancy check) When I try to manually copy the file Setup.inx from the CD to my PC, I get an other error message, "Error performing inpage operation", and the file transfer is aborted. I have been to the store where I bought the game and exchanged it for another copy, but I still have the same difficulties. Can anyone please help me out?

Please look at the "Self help" Sticky thread, post number 3 has a section called "Scandinavian patch installation problem" it apllies to initial install as well.
Follow the instructions there and it should sort you out.
