This map mode would aim to show quickly what territory is safe (from you, or you from them) behind a truce. If diplomatic tab is open, it will show truces from the point of view of the nation on the tab the tooltip would show the date the truce is up.

This would be specially useful when raiding the new world as there are tons of little nations and it could be hard to keep up with who was raided and who was not, specially as nations move around. Probably the same on a crowded HRE or India.

I had the same idea! A truce map is definitely needed. Or it could be incorporated within an existing map, as long as the information is clear.
I would nevertheless prefer a truce map of its own, perhaps with a colour scheme that tells when those truces are expiring.
Even when we have only a few neighbours, it would be useful in order to prepare future wars, know where+when this will be possible. At the moment, we need to check them one by one.
