Go into the game and hit the "multiplayer" selection. Then enter a username in the next screen. It may take upwards of 20 tries to get into the vnet server, so be patient and wait for your machine to hook up. Then select a channel and look for other players.
 
Christ Bib, you are a pain!!! ;)

Because alot of players don't check the MP forum, some don't even know it exists, and Vnet has been down for like 2 weeks. This is just and attempt to get more people aware that it is back up in case they have given up and never bother checking the MP board or Vnet itself.
 
People interested in MP should go to the MP forum then, that's why there are different forums, to stop clogging up this one. IF people want info on stuff that has a specific forum it makes perfect sense to go to that forum and hardly can be considered big trouble :D
 
Thanks alot for the Primer on how people use the boards. I'm telling you that people have given up on MP because Vnet was down for 2 weeks, and posting here was a method of getting people re-interested since they AREN"T CHECKING THE MP FORUM.

You are real supportive.

Vnet has actually been up for most of the last two weeks. I've only not been able to get into Vnet a cpl times. Unfortunately it doesnt get much traffic yet. I have spent hours waiting for someone to show up for a MP game.

If Waffen doesn't reply for the game he is setting up, I'd consider your game, but 1 minute=4 months is a bit steep for me. The transition to no-pause 1=2 has been bad enough, lol.

Anyone try playing Burgundy on a 1=4? You better be a damn fast clicker when the game rolls, or it's all over. ;)

Vnet hasn't been up

Sorry, but I have attempted to get into Vnet nearly every day for the last two weeks prior to 1/15 and never got a channel. Additionally, there are messages on this board indicating that the server was taken down and being worked on.

I agree 1/4 is fast if you are war, and Burgundy is at war with everyone in the first part of the game. So, don't play Burgundy. Take something peaceful like the Ottoman Empire. :)

I don't recall getting an e-mail from you - So if you're interested in getting in our game, see the post on my "looking for long term players" thread (or just e-mail me at kklemmick@hotmail.com and show up on Thursday at 8pm PST). It's also possible hotmail trashed your e-mail, since hotmail, well.. does that sometimes.

I agree with Chef Boyard... I have tried the V-net everyday the last week and haven´t gotten in once to find any channels. It says check your internet connection or the server are down. Once It tried to connect 20 times and then stoped.... That was the closest I have gotten to a connection to V-net. Internet and Lan games works fine thought never had a crash since I have gotten the 1.02 version..
