Hi guys,

In our last russian hoi2arma mp games, we are getting troubles with hamachi from time to time. Sometimes group of hamachi-users are leaving the game in the same time.

A week ago we knew about tunngle and today we tested. It emulated local connection, and unlike hamachi in hoi2 it appears good - the game appears in LAN and connection is okay.

At Tunngle you need to register, then go Community-Browse
We used to join "heart of iron" group, as there is hoi1 and hoi3 group, but not hoi2, but anyway our modded hoi2 version worked good.

I suppose it should be okay for eu2, and i hope tunngle is stable unlike hamachi.

Bah, after trying a few of these VPN programs, i have reached the conclusion that the crap remains the same, the only thing that changes are the flies. And hopefully with Gameranger and FTG, there wont be a need for these sort of things.

gameranger sucks ass, direct ip ftw

yesterday we played via tunngle, i suppose it caused problems even more than hamachi at the begining, but then more ok.

is there problems with gameranger as well ?

direct ip is of course the best, just there are still lamers without it.

Mats, is there limitation of number of players for TFG ?

I found hoi2arma has 8 players max there, and arsenal of democracy only 10

No limits AFAIK. But you will never ever get a good enough connection for many players, anyway.

i hosted 15 players in hoi2 without problems.
and other guy worked as good host for maximum - 20 players
