Hmm. Any clues as to alliance blocs? Or is it literally a free for all, where there is no alliances, and every single nation on earth is at war at one another?

Literally free for all, except for Switzerland, who is observer (I'll change this to Iceland for the next version).

There is a strange thing, though. The AI doesn't want to attack other AI's troops, leading into stalemates.

Ah, ok, I'll wait for that then, wasn't going to have a chance to play it till later anyway.

Also, you might want to put something in the first post about (how to install it and) whether it overwrites any other features of the vanilla game, as it wasn't very clear from the downloaded files

I've had this happen as well - I F12'ed and Fullcontrol'ed, and it appears that the AI issues attack orders, but for some reason combat isn't initiated, and so the unit will be marching non-stop to a destination it will never reach because there's an enemy unit there.

No idea how to fix that
 
Direct copy from my AAR thread.
The game lags and crashes because there are so many wars (I checked this by removing a certain amount and different parts, it's not one of them causing the problem), which means that the mod becomes quite useless... too bad. If I calculated correctly, there are 79 nations. If 1 nation is at war with 78 nations, then the second nation is also at war, making the calculation 78*78=6084. The AI probably couldn't handle it, and it would lag like shit. I already tried it with making ONE nation to go to war with everyone, and even that lagged pretty much.
Maybe I'll find a solution, but it's not happening anytime soon.

So, this mod is dead. I'm sorry.
