Hey dear Paradox Developers,

I've been playing EU4 and CK2 for so long now and appreciate your broad knowledge of history. However, the Turkish titles during their pre-islamic time are a kind of letting our motivation down as they are the same ones as in the islamic time. And believe me, so many people would love to play as a Tengri believer and try to survive not under islamic religion.

So I've made a list where there are titles for each phase of royalty, if you would update them with those titles, it would be brilliant:

State - Turkish State - Turkish Title - Example

Barony - Timar - Hetman - Timar of Samarkand
Bishopric - Temple - Shaman - Temple of Samarkand
City - City - Tigin - City of Samarkand
Chiefdom - Beylik - Bey - Beylik of Samarkand
Douchy - Beylerbeyligi - Atabey (Should be written as Beylerbeyligi of Samarkand and not Beylerbeylik of Samarkand)
Kingdom - Devleti - Han - (Samarkand Devleti)
Empire - Kaganlık - Kagan - (Kaganlık of Samarkand)

I would very much appreciate if an update included those info also.

Thank you for your precious time to read this thread.

I've moved you to PDS as that's a better fit. But you'd really be better off posting in the Bug Reports forum of both those games.

This really requires a separate Anatolian Turkish culture and Steppe Turkish culture, otherwise it just doesn't work.

change the current turkish to türkmen
let it turned into to turkish whenever türkmens convert to islam and settle down

CK2 can have multiple conditions, you can allow X names to pop up for Turkish culture and not Islam religion and Y names for Turkish Muslims. This can already be modded in.

Steppe Turkish can be rendered at Oghuz as it for the most part represents a common or linguistically mutually intelligible Oghuz bloc. I agree there should be culture melting pots that trigger when geographical or religious conditions are met.

I'm keep Empire as it is, if only because all the Turkish controlled Empires I've heard of have been known that way. I'd also keep the title of Muslim Turkish kings as "Sultan" to be honest, I don't know any exceptions to that rule in Anatolia or Iran. Han should be for either an Oghuz steppe culture or for Tengriists. To my understanding the Seljuks gained the term "Sultan" because the Abbasid caliph acclaimed them as such.
