Tutorial Freeze

Hello, I am new to the game so please forgive me if this has been addressed before.

I bought the game last year about this time but have never had the time to get into it. I installed the 1.06 patch and started playing through the tutorials when I ran into a freeze on the Resource Tutorial. The World Markets portion of the tutorial has frozen and no matter how many times I do as instructed, the tutorial does not progress forward.

I took a screen cap of it and reduced it to 800x600. http://www.astmod.com/lockup.PNG

I was not sure if this was a bug or not. I played through this tutorial three times and each time it locks up in the same spot.

Any ways, thanks for reading and I hope that someone can help.

Looks like this is a problem for many of the tutorials. Most depressing. The military one just locked up.

IIRC have the tutorial never worked (and it never will) , if you have any questions search or ask in the general forum

the tutorial really is pointless - this community will be more than happy to answer any of your questions. I guess Paradox would want to invest their time in patching the game itself instead of fiddling around with a tutorial that most never play anyway. IIRC vic and ck dont even have a tutorial....
