I think some people don't know about this, game, so (wiki):
Twilight Imperium is really BIG board game. It is now in 3rd edition and have 2 expansions. There's total of 17 races, it can be played by 8 players for, at least, 6 hours. With some optional rules, that makes game VERY complicated. Politics, mercenaries, ground combat, fleet battles, colonisation (with events), representatives, some unique mechanics are alredy in the game. TI alredy has all you need to get good, complicated, grand strategy in space.

So, what do you think? Could one of the projects be sci-fi inspired game? Or even this massive FFG board game :3

that would be a pretty cool thing to see. plus it would really play to paradoxs' roots to bring a board game into the digital era.

y'all I'd cry tears of joy lol. I have no one to play the game with me in real life. Just sitting in its box, unloved :(

such is the fate of about 99% of all board and card games. i'm part of a family of 4 and i can't even get them to play cards against humanity! let alone the pile of starfleet stuff my dad & uncles played as a kid.

I read the wiki page. That sounds like an amazing game, board or computer. It would be great if Paradox talked to the publisher to make a computer game off of it.

I've played mine only once xD That was hell of the fun for 12 hours. But we often play Twilight Imperium:Rex.

FFG made game with Cd Projekt Red ("Witcher:Adventure Game" for tablet pcs), so, why not to make grand strategy in space with guys, who know how to do grand strategies:D

The concept seems interesting. Although I know a lot of board games that can be made into awesome Clausewitz games.

Aye, I keep buying interesting and immersive board games and cards...only to find out that suddenly my brother (the only one who plays those games with me sometimes) is busy in studies and there is no one else interested. Or they simply can't bother to learn.

My new Go set stays in the box, it has yet to see daylight. *sad music plays*
