Hello all, two things I've discovered that are probably not intended. One is a true "bug" and the other is just a flaw in the AI, I think.
First, if you have a unit moving from one location to another and it is eliminated due to a lack of supplies, then you are left with an "armor" counter that moves very quickly (maybe this only happens when you use counters?). It will die at the beginning of the next day UNLESS you immediately send it on the move. If it moves continuously, it won't die unless it happens upon an enemy counter. The "bug" is that the super-fast armor unit can capture unprotected province. I used one to capture most of Africa in a matter of weeks.
Second, in the 1936 game, when Germany is controlled by the AI, Germany runs out of steel around August of 1936 and her economy grinds down to a halt. That's no fun to play against! Germany has plenty of other resources to trade -- there's no reason it has to run out of steel so soon.
Thanks!
