Currently there are two Popes in the 1066 scenario I am playing. It is 1107 and one Pope is the deceased Anselm of Lucca (1019-1090). He is ruling the Bishopric of Orbetello. This deceased ruler has the Papal insignia as his crest. The other Pope, Eduardo Delle Bande Nere rules the Papal States though using the Orbetello insignia of cross and SPQ. The scenario was started under 1.03a and is continuing under 1.03b.

This was a reported bug in 1.03a and was fixed in 1.03b, which appeared when a vassal bishop of Pope was elected new pope.

If you want to continue your game as normal, choose the dead man Anselm (have his character screen open in the middle of screen), press F12, in the console write: "die" (without " ") and the Undead pope dies and everything is back to normal.

This shouldn't appear anymore in 1.03b.
