Typo List

For the convenience of patchers, a list of game typos. I’m aware that typos are generally not high priority, but I know that this sort of thing sometimes gets fixed, and it’s easier when someone does the work of writing them down.

1) In all party files, the word “The” ought to be removed from the beginning of party names. Otherwise the announcement of a new party in power says that “The The Liberal Faction” has been elected.

2) In “newtext.csv”, in the “config” folder,
In the event where capitalists begin to build a factory, it reads:
“CAPITALISTS BUILDS A FACTROY”
“Sir, Capitalists starts to build a”

It should read:
“CAPITALISTS BUILD A FACTORY”
“Sir, Capitalists start to build a”

Note that this fixes pluralization and the misspelled “factroy”.

3) In “event_text.csv”, in the “config” folder,
“ACTIONNAME24065A;Why does thing kind of stuff always seem to happen to me?”
should read “Why does this kind of stuff always seem to happen to me?”

“ACTIONNAME24501A;Lucky we found that out before they where installed;”
should read “Lucky we found that out before they were installed”.

4) In “newtext.csv”, in the “config” folder,
“EVT_477_NAME;Vangaurd Party;;” should read “Vanguard Party”.
