UK prewar strategy

Hello everyone, I need some advice – I want to try playing as the UK in WiF or TRP, but my first attempt didn't go very well. What should I focus on in the pre-war years? I previously played as Germany and the USSR, so I'm a bit unsure about this. Thanks!

I usually build a few factories as far from Germany as possible, which should get some infrastructure as well. AA in areas you expect to get hit. I like garrisons, especially in TRP as there are a lot of beaches. Against good players probably 2 on each beach. ASW for my DDs. AA for my other ships. No BBs or CAs, but a Cl and a DD production line, or in TRP 2 and 3. A little bit of everything. Fighters first, then CAS. Get troops to Egypt early. Garrison Malta, Gibraltar. Assume your CW allies. Get South Africans up to Ethiopia. I don't send troops to France as a rule if I'm controlling it.

i suppose you start extensive factory build up, organize the armies you already have and start sending just some to egypt, 1938/39 build fighters to defend , 1940 start building new armies ( forget the france front and all far east front but india) during the war focus on the air battle of britain while building more armies and reinforcing the north african front italy is pretty weak you will win by 1941, by then you should be building and readying for the invasion of europe ( hint : watch your convoy numbers and build at least 8 squadrans of naval planes and build ASW attachment for destroyers to fight german submarines)
