unable to DOW

That's about it. I'm trying to DOW USSR as Germany in August '40, and the option doesn't even present itself in the diplomacy menu. It advances by 6 days automatically, no matter what speed I run at. Note - not 7 days, 6. Any fix?

No/

Perhaps you have auto-trade on: so your trade AI does resource trades with USSR which gives you the notification, that you can negotiate with them in another week again.
Just disable auto-trade for DoW and enable it afterwards.

You don't know how often I forgot to disable that when attacking BeNeLux as Germany, it's frustrating sometimes x)
