unable to install HOI2 with vista

I have succesfully installed the games ( HOI2, HOI2 doomsday and HOI2 Armageddon ) on my old laptop with windows xp.

On my new lap top with windows vista, i was unable to install the games. Only the installation menu appears and then windows says that the menu has ceased to function and will be closed.

I have installed windows vista sp 1 pack.

The games are on the DVD HOI anthology.
