Hi,

I'm trying to play on my laptop, and yes, with Intel HD-4000 graphics. It loads the menu fine. But it won't let me select a map. The selection screen looks like this:

I can actually enter this "unknown" map, but then it won't display the overlay graphics when placing a road. Once the road is placed it shows up.

The CPU and GPU are more than capable of modern games. While this laptop does have a discrete nvidia gpu (Quadro K2000M), I prefer not to use it (it is disabled in the bios) due to the heat it generates, and the lag in the desktop (oh god is it horrible, i can see the screen scan in line by line sometimes), and how it was just plain broken for over a year on many laptops with no updates from nvidia about the issue.

Let me remind you, the performance in the menu, and in game are absolutely fine, i have no stuttering or lag. Just some odd glitches.

This GPU also supports OpenGL 3.3 assuming you want to use the core profile:
Code:
OpenGL core profile version string: 3.3 (Core Profile) Mesa 10.4.2

I've tried to test on my desktop that has a NVidia GT 640 gpu, but it just fails to launch with no error message.

I've just noticed that the map you click on does actually change to selected but the highlight/background is very dark, and it doesn't update the ui to show the stats, as seen above.

I can also confirm

Water is black, w/ no direction arrows
everything is really dark
no selectors in new game
roads don't appear when placing on the ground but when paged up or in the air they are there. they show up after placing
status bubbles don't show up (abandon, fire, trash, et. al)
water lines don't appear till on the closest zoom level

I confirm this problem.

I don't know how to get all of my video card stats, but I have the same problem.
I ahve tried updating all of the drivers I can, but it doesn't help.

Please, I want to play this game so desperately. Everything runs smooth, but it doesn't render right.
Rivers and sky are black,
The roads don't show up until built (no shadow roads)
and worst, the zone blocks don't render, so I cant zone areas.
