When i download a mod from the workshop and enable it in the launcher the mod doesn't work.

I cannot find any mod folder in the games main directory or in documents.
I have seen another thread talking about a similar issue where the game is putting mod files in a D: drive my problem is i only have one C: drive.

Can someone please help?

I have the same problem. I have no mod folder either and I have a D: drive. Moreover, when I make a mod folder and put in the mods manually, they don't even show up in the launcher. Truly weird stuff.

Sorry, are you manually downloading and installing a mod? Or subscribing to it in the Steam Workshop?

yes, both

I tried seven mods of different styles on steam, and one manually (Emendatio Historiae Imperatoris), I reinstalled the game, restart steam, the computer.
The error log is written though.
I tried to create a mod fictie to put one of these mods, impossible to create one.

I fixed it.

IF you have windows 10, and IF you have your OneDrive enabled so it has your files on one drive. Basicly if your Imperator Documents folder directory looks like this:
"C:\Users\"username"\OneDrive\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Imperator"

You need to go into your OneDriveby rightclicking in the white\blue one drive icon in your bottom right corner more>settings>choose folders and uncheck your "documents" in there.

A guy found the problem on Steam, with a false mod :
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1727634771

By default to me, path is :
"gameDataPath": "%USERPROFILE%/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Imperator",

I am French, I use Win7 P, I have my games and my documents elsewhere than on C :, and I have never had this problem with the other Paradox's games.

But file will not be in good place, and the game will not find the mods.

The proposed solution does not work after if you do not move the mod manually in the right place, for me, at least.

Eureka !

I brought back "My Documents / Paradox Interactive" from D: to C: and it work now !!
I dont understand why Imperator's mods need to be on C: to work fine like his big brothers.
I hope this will be arranged in the future, I only have a SSD of 120 GB for my dos ( I had 20GB of backups on CKII ^^).
