Fired up one of my old Under One Rule builds to play with the new systems. Depending on the decisions you make, the origin can offer +3 trait points and +2 trait picks, which is absolutely massive when paired with the special government effects of the purity tree. It just so happened I got the Omnicodex and the orbital gene cache on the same playthrough, so my species is now absolutely stacked with gene traits. At the end of the UOR story arc you can choose to give up the throne (which you should always do, IMO, there's not much of a downside except maybe losing out on a few more levels on your luminary trait.) so I went with the oligarchy government type, giving my pops 52% job efficiency and a staggering 630% increase in agenda speed (105% from each councilor) Each one finishes in a few months, then I run out of agendas for a while, but it means I can stack all the combat buffs from the different agendas all at once.
