I had a vacancy for diocesean bishop (for 30 years playing as Byz - just the job looked too risky!).

Then my 3rd son who had got a church education turned 15. All good so far - I will appoint him when he joins the list of selectable courtiers (which isn't immediate - is this WAD?).

I then get not one but two events of "I would make a better ..." from my son. Both before the game will actually let him be appointed! I blew him off once, but then had to fork out 700d to avoid lowering his loyalty too far.

I think the event should either:
a) give an option to appoint the applicant
b) not fire if the applicant is not yet eligible for the position (e.g. not on selectable courtier list).

Courtiers can not be appointed to an position before they are 16 years old. That's when they're considered adults, not when they finish their education.

The problem is that, unlike the other "I would make a better..." events , the "Is chaplain and in not any position" event (id = 7323) does not check for age, only for completed ecclesiastical education (and a lot of other stuff). Slight mishap in event coding here, I'm guessing.

Yes. My fault. It would be corrected in the next patch.
