Actual Result

Gittering shapes and squares, reticulated in a grid like manner that are constantly moving and twitching (but only underwater, in-game, in editors, ...)

Steam

Game Version

1.17.1-f4

With or without minimal mods, like quay anarchy or Move it, this graphics issue persists.
I am running on a MacBook Pro 16" 2019 with AMD Radeon Pro 5300M 4GB, 16GB RAM, and an Intel i7 6 Core, 2.6GHz.
I previously ran the game without any graphics issue on a Macbook Pro 15" 2017 with a Radeon Pro 555 1.5GB, 16GB RAM and an Intel i7 4 core, 2.8GHz.

I guess this has to be to do with the different graphics hardware of those two machines. But are they on the same MacOS versions?

Have you tried changing any graphics settings in the game?

I doubt very much there will be any more patches for this game, although nothing official as been announced along those lines.

But that MacOS version is very old, is there something stopping you from updating? My 2017 iMac can take up to 13.x , so I assume your Macs can too. This being the only way to get updated video drivers on Macs.

You may be right to update. I just don't get how two different Macs, the older one has no graphical problems and then the newer one has graphical problems and they're running exactly the same with the same OS.
My theory is that newer AMD Radeon Pro is not fully compatible with Cities Skylines or it has to do OpenGL/Metal, I don't know though.

Thank you for your advice, I'll take it into consideration. I'm glad I at least let everone know on the forums that this is another bug in the game.

Well, it may be a bug in the AMD video driver on one kind of AMD video hardware but not the other; as you say likely in he openGL/metal area.
