I'm currently playing feudal kemetic, and my council voted themselves into lifetime appointment at a very inopportune moment. It's been years now and I still can't find a tab to undo this. I think I've studied all the tabs in laws and realm, etc, and I just don't see anything about it -- or changing women on the council laws either, while I'm here. I really have the wrong councilors on there right now and I don't want to have to use assassination. ;)

Under council law I have thinks like "abolish council power" and whether or not the council votes on title grants, etc. But nothing about what I'm looking for, no lifetime appointment setting.

It's a demesne law titled something like "Councill appointment". there are two options "Free" and "Life".

It's usually listed last.
