uninstall prob

Hey, I'm having problems completely uninstalling the game. I'm doing this so I can Install a vanilla copy to play w/ my friend. Unfortunately its not working =\ and i did something stupid >.> I removed the files manually =\ Even though all the files are gone, I still can't install the game =\ So I'm wondering, is there any hidden files that makes it impossible for me to install again??? O ya, I also have a modded version of HOI2 on another folder if that helps. PLease help =\, I wanna play MP ;_; ><

Hi!

I have done as the sticky say about uninstall but I still cannot make a new install, I have win XP sp2, is it something more I must do to uninstall HoI2 that is not mentioned there?

(when I try to install the only options present are; Repair previous install and Uninstall -and neither makes any differense, the game don´t completely uninstall neither repairs so I can play it)

sorry about my earlier thread i didn't see this

I have the same problem it won't let me uninstall it. I dont' want to manually take out folders and stuff but if memory serves simply killing the regestry key wont' do it eather when I try to uninstall it gives me options to uninstall or repair. I go through the motions and so does the computer but essentially nothing happens. I can still play it and I still can't patch it.

any advice?
